Good precedents...

Two women presidents, Michelle Bachelet of Chile and Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia, are in the news this week as they begin to verbally address issues of inequality and war that have cast a shadow over their countries. Hopefully they can turn some of their talk into action and show the world that women are no less capable in these positions than men. I think there is more than just a little riding on their next moves...
Developing nations seem adept enough to positions of power and leadership to women...when will the United States follow suit?
