Toodling...

Well, here we are...in Tucson and friendless. So, we are back to doing what we spent the first years in Seattle doing...going for long walks in different neighborhoods and just generally checking out the sites. This weekend we drove out to the farming communities of Willcox and Patagonia (yes, Tucson has it's very own Patagonia), walked around the downtown shopping district (think Hawthorne Ave. in Portland) and went to the Tucson Botanical Garden. By last night at dinner we were starting to run out of conversation (yes, it happens even to us), so we spent our dinner hour playing 20 questions in German. Let's hope we do a quicker job of making friends down here than we did in S-town...
