So, Dylan (my amazing husband) completed the El Tour de Tucson perimeter bicycle race this past Saturday. We're talking 109 miles racing around the city of Tucson. On a bike. This is the longest perimeter bike ride in the USA.
His average time during the whole ride clocked in at 17 mph (pretty fast for a bicycle). Of course, that doesn't account for rest stops, so I would guess he actually averaged something more like 18 mph.
Needless to say, I'm extremely proud of him. This is no small accomplishment!
